jordan riversThe highlight of Pride Week – the vibrant and colourful parade, took place in Benidorm on Saturday afternoon, with the rain just about holding off... well for the beginning at least! Participants gathered at the Rincon end of the Levante beach, wearing an array of eye catching outfits, along with a number of floats and decorated cars… not forgetting the beautiful horse, with Miss Coco Chanel taking the reigns.

mobility scooterMusic blared out and the area took on a carnival like atmosphere, with many holidaymakers lining the Levante promenade to cheer the participants on. It then turned onto the Avd Mediterraneo, where the heavens opened and headed down to the town hall and onto the Park L’Aiguere, where the partying will continue into the early hours with an open air concert at the Auditorium Julio Iglesias.
