Well the news is now out .... the Benidorm episode will be aired on Friday 14th September on Channel 4 at 8pm. It has already been doing the rounds on various travel forums - I have no idea how it has got out that I am on it! One of the guests appearing with me is Benidorm´s popular Miss Jordan Rivers of the Rich Bitch - aka Gary Brown.

I was contacted by Jonathan the researcher back in May to publicise that they were looking for contestants to apply for the show. As a huge fan of the show, my husband will verify that as he is subjected to watching back to back episodes every weekend, I even decided to fill out an application form myself.... and the rest is history!

Filming took place week commencing Monday 25th June and literally took over your life for those 4 days. No one realises quite how exhausting it is - the worse day obviously being the day you host. I was chosen as the first dinner party and you will be able to read all about it after next weekend..... what really goes on behind the scenes, do the contestants all get on or were there any heated exchanges!

Your house is turned upside down as it becomes a film studio - furniture is moved from room to room, windows are blacked out, pictures are moved - nothing is as it seems - and your family are banished for the day!

We have not been shown the final edited version or heard any of David Lambs sarcastic comments, so I am in the dark as much as everyone else - I think thats what Im dreading the most! When I watch the series thats the best bit, when David makes mocking comments about the host or food - now its my turn! All I know is who won.... but you will have to wait till Friday to find out.
