There are numerous hotels and apartments to choose from in Benidorm and something to suit every pocket. Whether you want budget, luxury, adult only or family friendly, you will most definately find them all here, ranging from small independant family run to large multi national chains.
New music themed hotel
Yesterday the newly refurbished Marconfort Benidorm Suites were officially inaugurated by the Mayor, Agustin Navarro following a 6 month renovation project. To stand out from the crowd they have become the first themed establishment here - inspired by music from the 70´s, 80´s & 90´s. It is certainly going to appeal to those in the 40 - 60 age bracket in particular, bringing back fond memories of days gone by.
Spacious rooms
The rooms, well to be 100% correct they are suites, have been totally de-done - and very tastefully too. Size wise, they are more than ample for a family, with a separate bedroom, lounge area, en-suite with walk in shower and a very large balcony.
The balcony has a solid wall so there is no fear of small children slipping through any balustrade - which considering that there are 25 floors could be a worry!
200 suites across 25 floors
There are 200 rooms in total and the hotel attracts a high percentage of British holiday makers - therefore English speaking staff are evident throughout.
Yesterday the staff made a special effort to come in character, with many psychedelic inspired outfits of the flower power era!
Plenty of entertainment areas
There are plenty of separate entertainment areas dotted around, including a "Jazz & Blues Club" and a "Rock & Sports Bar" as well as the main lounge and huge outside terrace with 2 bars.
You can easily avoid your other half for an entire evening if you so wish....
Changing times
The Marconfort group also own the Sandos Monaco, an all inclusive adult only hotel in Benidorm, which will also be undergoing a big renovation in time for next years busy Summer season.
Many of the hotels in Benidorm were built in the early 80´s and so in need of refurbishment if they want to survive. Back in those days televisions were very big and bulky, taking up an entire corner of the room - but with new technology they are so slim they now come mounted on a wall!
