Benidorm was "All Shook Up" this weekend for the much anticipated annual Elvis fiesta. As in previous years, Peter Phillips, alongside Harriet have organised this incredible 3-day event here, which grows and attracts fans from far and wide.
They are also the incredible duo who bought to life the legendary Porthcawl Elvis festival - now in its 20th year, which attracts over 30,000 fans every September to the sleepy seaside town in South Wales... which this year is taking place 27-29 September.
It certainly takes a lot of energy to put together the smooth running of this weekend extravaganza, to ensure that all the fans go away buzzing and enthused which they most certainly do!
There was an incredible weekend of entertainment lined up for the Elvis fans - fun filled poolside shows at the Melia, Elvis themed games, a world class ETA line up with shows going on in 3 separate venues and of course the legendary after show parties - which went on well into the early hours!
The Elvis Tribute Artistes included Mike Nova, Arron Walker, Gordon Davis, Oliver Steinhoff, Louis Brown, John Mencis, Juan Lozano, Ciaran Houlihan and Benidorm´s finest, Simon Patrick. Shows took place at the Rock & Roll House, Tropical Bar and the La Toretta suite in the Melia.
However, the highlight of the weekend has to be Sunday nights Elvis extravaganza “One Love” at the iconic Benidorm Palace... and if last years is anything to go by, it will be phenomenal, with all the ETA’s on stage together.
If you missed out this time then the date for next year is 25-27 April 2025… mark it in your diary. It is always very popular and sells out super quick.
