  • With the current travel restrictions in place many are wondering if and when they will ever be able to take a holiday. It will happen – it´s just a matter of time. Benidorm is literally crying out for people to return, after all, their economy only really survives thanks to tourism. Hotels, restaurants bars, taxi drivers, theme parks and all those businesses associated with supplying them are on their knees, not only here but across the world. However, for resorts such as Benidorm, there is no other industry to fall back on. We want and need you but realise as much as we want you here and you wanting to be here, it cannot happen until it is safe to do so. One things for sure, once restrictions are lifted and international travel back on, there will be one hell of a party!

  • Over the last few days, there has been much scaremongering in the UK press that Brits visiting Spain “must prove that they can spend at least €100 per day for the duration of their stay as well as a return flight and proof of accommodation”. Do not be put off booking by reading these alarming sensational headlines - 99% of those arriving at Alicante airport for their holiday to Benidorm will sail through passport control and be on their way on the AP7 motorway into the resort to enjoy all it has to offer.

  • The year has got off to a great start for Benidorm – the unusually mild start to the year has seen temperatures hovering around the 20 degree mark and many even braving the waters for a swim. The last of the Christmas festivities takes place tonight – the 3 Kings Parade which is celebrated in all towns and cities across Spain and tomorrow is an official Bank Holiday here. Then the sales officially begin – or "rebajas" as they are known here.
