calendar organisersAt last – the Benidorm boys can be seen in all their glory… but it´s all in aid of a very worthy cause! Wayne, aka Miss Levi is hugely revered and respected for all the fundraising work that he does in the community – especially for Emaus. Another great champion is Paul of Foley´s Bar and so these two admired advocates, together with partners Des and Jackie have joined forces, and ideas, to produce a fantastic charity calendar, which is now available to buy.

Charity CalendarThe pair had no problem finding twelve sponsors – one for each month, who paid for all the productions and printing costs involved. So a special mention must go to Rockerfellas; Restaurant Four Seasons; Foley´s Bar; Elvis Fiesta/Rock & Roll House; Camping Villamar & Villasol; The Red Lion; Yorkshire Pride Pubs; CoolFM; Hepburns Hair & Beauty Salon; Seabright Satellite Systems; Tiki Beach and Café Benidorm.

Sample of the Benidorm charity calendarTheir generous funds have enabled 1000 calendars to be printed, which are being sold for €10 each and available at all the venues mentioned - as well as from the pin-up boys themselves! So who are these brave and fearless chaps I hear you ask… well many you will have seen and heard entertaining you such as Albi, Gareth Fulton, The Rat Pack and Take That while others are business owners such as Tad and of course Wayne, Des and Paul!

Calendar CoverALL of the proceeds will go to Emaus - which is in dire economic straits and they hope to be able to present the charity with the proceeds before Christmas, enabling the children to have a truly magical time. This year Paul and Jackie have kindly offered Foley´s Bar to be a drop off point for presents for the children, which is located opposite El Raco camping.
The calendars will make great Christmas presents and at the same time, help support a very deserving cause. Des was the official photographer and spent literally weeks putting it all together while Wayne was the Artistic Director, strategically positioning props in the correct place!

A huge well done to Wayne, Des, Paul and Jackie… lets hope it´s a great success as in the words of supermarket giants Tesco “Every little Helps”
