  • The clock is ticking down.... Benidorm series 7 is about to hit our screens tonight and social media networks are already going into overdrive! Since the cast and crew finished filming and packed up back in June, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release date of this latest series. Over the years they have featured a resident singer at the ficticious "Neptunes" nightclub – in series 6 it was Asa Elliott and before him Shaun Foster-Conley. For this series they have used a number of established and popular Benidorm acts – the first of which you will see in tonights first episode – The Stylistics! The suave and uber slick threesome are made up of Leroy Charlery, Kojo Adisi and Leroy Davis – otherwise known as Leroy Smokes.

  • There´s a new kid on the block as far as entertainers in Benidorm are concerned and boy, or should I say boyo, is he good. There´s no guessing from that one word what nationality he is – Welsh and the most iconic voice to come from the hills is Sir Tom Jones.   • “Incredible talent” is a phrase often over used, but one entertainer here in Benidorm who justifies that label is Pablo Bloom. He really is a must see if you are visiting and many visitors plan their evening schedule around where he will be on. But he will not be a Benidorm secret for much longer following last weekends audition for “España got Talent”! This is the first time that the television talent show has come to Spain – it has been aired since 2007 in the UK and is a staple Saturday night view for many Brits.

  • At the beginning of this year Karen Ravenscroft, otherwise known as Kinky Karen was one of several Brits that was featured on Channel 5's "Benidorm ER" documentary series. The camera crew followed her around whilst she was investigating the cause and treatment for a severe back problem.She was advised by doctors that she needed an operation but Karen decided against it after researching the risks involved.

  • Yesterday afternoon the first of a number of scheduled auditions took place here in Benidorm, looking for who may be the next potential winner of “Britain’s Got Talent 2018”, which is broadcast on national television! Teams are here in the resort, having arrived on Tuesday afternoon, to record acts to take back to London for the production crew to view.
    This year, the nations’ favourite talent show, broadcast on ITV is casting it’s net further afield in its search for talent – and they couldn’t have chosen a better place. Traditionally teams search across the UK but for the very first time ever they have come abroad and Benidorm was chosen, in part due to it’s high concentration of British expats.

  • With the bars brimming over every night in the centre of Benidorm you are spoilt for choice as to where to head. Many of the Stag & Hen parties head to the big themed bars which offer round the clock entertainment in the evenings - which is all FREE. If you went into any equivalent place anywhere around the world you would be charged an entrance fee but here in Benidorm there is no charge what so ever.

  • I met up and had a coffee at the Hotel Presidente with the lovely Crissy Rock yesterday afternoon, her home when she is here in Benidorm. Unfortunately, she is jetting back on a Jet2 flight to Liverpool today, using her entire 22kg luggage allowance she showed me, having had a fruitful shopping spree that morning. But she´ll be back here in November, in time for the Benidorm fiestas and looking forward to the British Fancy Dress day she told me – but hasn´t quite decided on her outfit for this year yet.

They are a double act reminiscent of a seaside postcard, featuring an older domineering wife - Dame Lucy and her downtrodden obedient husband - Reg.It is all very innocent, combining saucy cheek with innuendoes and the one hour show keeps the audience captivated
