  • Despite what looked like a rather grey overcast start to the day, there was a great turnout for the Albir Eurothon today. As is typical of Spanish timekeeping, the 12 noon start turned more into 12.30 - which I suppose is pretty good going!

  • For the ninth successive year, the Eucalyptus Park in Albir has hosted the annual Costa Blanca Custom Bike Show – an absolute must if you love big shiny bikes! It is probably the biggest concentration of gleaming Harley Davidson bikes you will witness in one place and even if you’re not a biker, you cannot fail but be impressed by all the chrome on display! In addition there were also plenty of stalls, selling bikers related accessories, clothing, memorabilia, food plus a very busy bar and stage with live rock bands, making for a great party atmosphere.

  • The Eucalyptus Park in Albir was a hive of activity as the annual Harley Davidson Fun Day took place there today. Around 600 leather clad bikers gathered with their gleaming machines, coming not only from the Costa Blanca area but also from Madrid and one biker, Nicolai, came all the way from Kiev in Ukraine!

  • Members of the 'Free Spirits HD Harley Enthusiasts Club' roared into Albir this morning where they stopped off for a coffee at the Brew Rock Bar. It is part of their annual Christmas run - an 80km route from Pedreguer to Benidorm and a way of putting a smile on everyone's faces… which they certainly achieved. In fact, it was hard to tell who was more excited, the children seeing so many Santas or the men eager to check out the gleaming chrome!
