Benidorm was awash with colour, music and celebration today as the city’s spectacular Pride Parade took to the streets, bringing thousands of people together for one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year to hit the resort.
The parade may be over but tonight Benidorm is still partying…. And it looks set to continue well into the early hours with a fabulous free concert at the Julio Iglesias auditorium!

Its just a short ride from Bendorm and an annual event that attracts thousands of petrol heads to the area not only from Spain but from across Europe!

Benidorm has never been afraid to think big, and the newly transformed Port Benidorm Hotel & Spa is the latest example of the resort's continuing evolution. Following a major redevelopment and the addition of the striking new Sky Tower, the hotel has reopened with a fresh, contemporary look that places it firmly among the city's most impressive resort properties. The hotel reopened in 2016 but many will still remember the previous establishment, the Dalmatas… it´s certainly a complete 360 degree turnaround from those days!

Benidorm's annual Medieval Market is in full swing, transforming Dove Park (Parc d´Elx) at the start of the Ponient beach into a vibrant medieval village. Running until Sunday evening, the market features numerous artisan stalls offering handmade goods such as jewellery, soaps, leather items, herbs, spices, and olives. Stallholders enhance the authentic atmosphere by dressing in period costumes.

Benidorm was "all shook up" this weekend as it hosted the spectacular three-day Elvis fiesta, drawing fans from all over (especially the UK) to celebrate the life, music, and legacy of the King of Rock and Roll. The event featured some of the world's top Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs), turning the town into a buzzing hub of sequins, slicked-back hair, and timeless rock 'n' roll.

Benidorm – or specifically calle Gerona, transformed into a sea of green in celebration of St Patrick´s Day today. Bars all embraced the occasion, with bunting, balloons, flags and shamrocks decorating their terraces… it´s just a shame that the weather didn´t co-operate! Yet despite it all, the crowds seemed to take it all in their stride, with green plastic poncho macs matching the colour of the fancy dress many opted to wear.

The spectacular Three Kings parade took place in Benidorm old town this evening (Sunday 5th) – a tradition that was repeated in many towns and cities across Spain on the eve of ‘Los Reyes Magos’ – with Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar the stars of the event. Thousands lined the entire route, all vying to catch some of the thousands of kilos of sweets thrown out to the crowds along the way.

Christmas has now officially arrived in Benidorm! The town hall square, renamed Plaza de la Navidad – "Christmas Square" for the duration of the festive period is in full sparkly mode. The façade of the town hall is lit up with the words Feliz Navidad, Bon Nadal and Merry Christmas on a loop and a giant tree graces the approach- a perfect photo opportunity for visitors.
